One Two Three
Glenn, a student at Maine Maritime, has been helping make a new rudder for his Grandfather's boat, Gremlin, in Manchester Harbor, and helping around the shop as well. He and I had some fun repairing the wiring on this Very Old, and Very Fragile, front hall light in a lovely old home in Manchester. We don't do electrical work per se, but the electicians balked at removing the lamp, and I really don't blame them. Even though we can break things just as easily as anyone else, Glenn and I slowed down just enough to be as careful as it needed. We made the orb a nice little nest on the bed in the third floor guest room, and the next day, after a a new five dollar bulb socket, and some new marine grade wiring from the shop, no more danger of arcing from frayed 75 (at Least!) year old wire...
