Danvers,MA 01923
…"Popes landing" and it is located on Liberty street in Danvers.
…State boat ramp on Rock Pond, off route 97 next to Cuffy Doles Restaurant. No fee. Parking for several tow vehicles with trailers.

Local Knowledge 1) Corliss ramp is very shallow and should be considered a "use only at 1/2 tide" type ramp unless you have a 12 aluminum or something very small.2) A new ramp at the high school is now open. It is a dramatic improvement over the old ramp. 3) There is a boat ramp located out past the Apple Street one referred to as Lanes Cove.4) The Jones river ramp is tidal and has negligible parking.

...Public Ramp behind the Police Station in the center of town. This is the inner harbor, and you must pass beneath a railroad bridge to access the main harbor and ocean. Remember that while there is no fee, there is no parking for your trailer; and without a Manchester sticker when it is crowded in the summer, you will be ticketed.
